Experience and Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of data warehousing and business analytic methodology best practices.
  • Data modeling & data lake architecture experience.
  • Experience working with mature ETL pipelines.
  • Production python & spark (or similar) experience.
  • SQL experience.
  • Experience in designing data quality metrics to monitor pipelines.
  • AWS specific experience.
  • Glue, S3, Redshift, CloudFormation, Lambda, etc…
  • Experience using source control (Git).
  • Strong synchronous and asynchronous communication skills.
  • Comfortable with startup culture – take initiative and require little direction.
  • Interest in behavioral science.
  • Passion for functional languages (like Clojure) or have a strong desire to learn!
