Caretaker Medical, a fast-growing developer of innovative wireless patient monitoring devices is seeking an Electronics Tech and Support Specialist join our team. Key Responsibilities

The ideal Electronics Technician candidate is a naturally curious, hands-on technician skilled in electronics troubleshooting, assembly & repair, and technical customer support. The position will interface and contribute meaningfully across the product development deployment life-cycle, including hardware troubleshooting & repair, assembly and manufacturing support, customer installation & support, documentation, and issue resolution in compliance with ISO 13485 standards with a technical mindset. strong attention to detail, and ability to assist customers with technical product related issues. General knowledge of electronics and PCBA’s and an ability to work in a fast-paced team environment is required. Desired skills include PCBA test & Troubleshooting, surface mount soldering, and experience collaborating with hardware and software engineers to develop and maintain wireless products. Knowledge of FDA regulated medical products, ISO 13485 processes Design History File documentation, and GMP is desired, but not mandatory. Technical training will be provided.

Experience and Qualifications

Specific Duties Include:
• Assemble, debug, test, and troubleshoot prototype product designs and malfunctioning equipment/product using industry tools
• Assist with the assembly, programming, and testing of electronic devices, as well as the use and development of manufacturing test fixtures for a production environment
• Assist in prototyping and board bring-up and testing functions, including circuit modification, pcba soldering and component add/change/removal
• Provide Post-Sales technical support to customers including solution implementation, troubleshooting and issue resolution, product training, and integration of Caretaker products & data into other systems
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, video and chat in a timely and professional manner
• Troubleshoot technical issues reported by customers and work towards a timely resolution, escalating complex issues to the appropriate team or departments when necessary
• Perform hand soldering of surface mount components on high density PCBs at times with <1 mm pitch spacing and 0201 discrete packages as needed.
• Write technical documents including test reports, verification procedures, and/or other technical reports or documents as needed.
• Participate and assist in optimizing the Quality Management System and ISO 13485 processes
• Assist with manufacturing activities and provide support to CM’s for production issues
• Assist with the maintenance of lab, lab equipment and supplies and other duties as assigned
