Product Manager

RIVANNA Medical, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Product Manager to contribute to the rapid growth of our emerging medical device company. You will work within a talented team of professionals as we strive to achieve our mission of elevating the standard of care by leveraging innovative and world-class imaging technology.

The ideal candidate has prior successful experience managing medical device products and leading sales and marketing efforts. Experience with medical imaging and anesthesia is desired but not required. This is a hands-on multidisciplinary role in which the right candidate will engage multiple internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute commercialization plans for both incumbent products and new product launch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Become a product expert and advocate for the Accuro product portfolio
  • Drive commercial excellence for Accuro sales and marketing execution
  • Train, support, and empower Rivanna’s clinical sales and distributor sales teams
  • Travel with sales team(s) and to trade shows and conferences to represent Rivanna and Accuro
  • Identify, design and/or lead the development of sales tools and marketing collateral that support successful commercial execution
  • Own and manage the Rivanna’s customer relationship management system (CRM)
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans, including strategic positioning, pricing strategy, and brand management.
  • Collaborate with current and potential distribution partners domestically and internationally to optimize commercial success.
  • Forecast commercial results and augment plans to optimize and outperform forecast.
  • Support collaboration between internal R&D, sales, marketing, QA/RA, and manufacturing departments to coordinate commercialization planning and execution.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, science, or related field.
  • Advanced Degree preferred (BME or MBA) but not required.
  • At least 4 years in a medical device product management role or similar
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office, excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as organization and documentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to set and meet tight deadlines and function well under pressure
