Vibratess

About

Vibratess (Vibrational Terahertz Spectroscopic Sensors) was formed in 2007 as a spin-off from the University of Virginia to develop and commercialize low terahertz (THz) resonance spectroscopy for biological materials detection and characterization. Vibratess is a woman-owned small business that has received continuous funding from Small Business Innovation Research Contracts.

The company works on research, development and commercialization of terahertz (THz) resonance spectroscopy technology and spectroscopic sensors as a fast, optical, label-free and reagent-free highly innovative approach to improve molecular and cellular characterization analysis for life science applications including early detection, diagnosis, prognosis and therapeutic treatment of cancers that are currently difficult to detect.
