BioSparkVA is a competitive live pitch event for life sciences start-ups, co-hosted by Cooley. This event will take place on Thursday, September 26 at 9:00 am at the Irving Theater in Charlottesville.

Agenda & Speakers

After an application process, eight companies will be invited to deliver a pitch before a panel of judges and an audience of life sciences investors
Pitches will consist of 8-minute presentations plus 5 minutes of Q&A with the panel of judges, and up to 15 slides
Participating companies may be eligible for cash prizes and in-kind professional services

BioSparkVA Eligibility Criteria

Companies must be U.S.-based and willing to present in person on Sept 26th
Open to established entities that have raised or been granted $100k to $10M in total funding
Companies may only enter one product or service

The submitted product or service must fall under one of the following categories:

Therapeutics
Digital Health
Medical Device
Diagnostics
Healthcare Adjacent Tech
